A Sadhu Board or a Fire board, a Yoga Desk or Board with Nails. Different names but the essence is the same.
HOW PRACTICING ON THE SADHU NAILS WILL HELP YOU?

After constant practice, you can take charge of the Monkey Mind, which in yoga is referred to a mind that is in constant flux.
Above all, the practice helps each of us to get ride of muscle blocks, to connect with ourselves, relieve stress, and restore our energy reserves.
You will feel the results within a week of practice!

NAILS vs. SCREWS...Which Should You Choose?! (Pros + Cons of Nails And Screws For Your Projects!)
Should you choose NAILS or SCREWS for your project? It's the eternal question! This short video from The Honest Carpenter will explain some of the most basic differences--as well as the strengths and weaknesses--of screws and nails!
When it comes to FASTENING POWER, there's not much competition--screws have vastly more fastening power than nails!
This is because screws have threads, which act as little pawls within a material. Screw threads prevent PULL-OUT and EXTRACTION forces.
Also, screws are REMOVABLE, which makes them the ideal option for any project which will need to be take apart someday.
Nails, on the other hand, are prone to losing some of their fastening power over time, especially when exposed to seasonal expansion and contraction.
However, nails have more SHEAR STRENGTH, which helps them resist the force of two objects sliding sideways across one another. Nails will bend slightly, but not break. (Screws are far more likely to break when exposed to shear forces.)
For this reason, nails of proper length are almost always required by code in nearly every framing application. This helps prevent hurricane winds and seismic vibrations from knocking houses down.
Screws are also more expensive than nails. And, they take longer to install.
For speed and strength, nails can be paired with adhesives to help overcome some of their fastening weaknesses. Even brad nails can act as temporary fasteners while wood glue is setting up. The resulting strength is comparable to that of screws.
Thanks for watching!

Is this the best dog scratch board for trimming nails that you can buy? Let's watch the review to find out!
Keeping your dog's nails trimmed is so important, but some dogs hate to have it done, this scratch pad could help you with that problem! This product was sent to us in return for our honest review. This is a Dog Scratch Board, and if you have never used one before, prepare to be amazed! It’s basically a giant nail file for your dogs! This board is double sided, with the black side being a coarse grit that you want to use first, and then the blue side is a softer grit for really polishing down the edges of your dog's nails.
If your dog has never used one of these, it will take a bit of training to get them used to it. First you want to introduce your dog to the board. Let them sniff it and step on it, and reward them as they do it. Then you want to hold the board at an angle, and use a treat to get them to put their paws on the board, sometimes holding the treat behind the board helps. You can slowly accompany a word, like scratch or dig to this as they touch it. Over time your dog will learn to dig at the board, and that’s what you want! It’s best to use the smoother side to start, as you want it to be gentle for your dog as they are learning. Over time your dog will learn to scratch the board on command! Leading them to trimming and filing their own nails!
This board comes with extra sandpaper, so once your dogs have used it enough you can peel off the sandpaper, and put the new ones on! Eventually as your dog gets used to this and learns how to use it, you could even mount it on a wall and have them scratch at it whenever you ask them too!

Before you soak your nails, always cut your nails first. You don't want your nails to absorb the water, get too soft, and then as your cutting and then shaping them, they will start to fray, like jeans. Think about the shape that you want first. Do you want something that's really pointy, or do you want something that is an active length and it's going to allow you to do everything you want to do during the day.
I always recommend squared with rounded edges, because it doesn't stag your pantyhose. It doesn't snag your clothes, and if you were to hit your nail up against the wall or anything, you wouldn't feel it as much, because the corners actually help absorb the shock. Which is kind of cool thinking about how your nails can do all these things for you.
I also like the oval, which on the nail is a little pointy, but it also smooths out the tip of the nail, which does the same thing, absorb the shock, if you were to hit the nail. I recommend oval nails if you have a longer nail bed. It doesn't look good, if your nail is really short. Let's try the squared with the round edges first.
You clip the nail, if it needs to be clipped, and then you take a nail file, and you file across, safety tip. If you're at a salon, you want to know that you're the first person that used the nail file. It should be wrapped, depends, if not look around the sides and make sure that it hasn't been used. If not, you can request it.
To shape it square, you always go straight across, to give it that squared shape. Now, this is an emery board. File straight across and then you'LL take your fingers and of course if you're at home, squeeze the skin on the side and always go in one direction, when you are doing the corners. This way, you don't create hang nails.
If you are doing the squared with rounded edges, you file flat across here and then put your nail file at a 45-degree angle, and file across this way. What it does, is that it smooths out the corner of the nail so that it doesn't snag, and it just gives it a nice rounded side, with a nice, flat look straight across.
To create the oval look, you definitely cut the nail on a stronger angle, about 45 degrees. And you are going to cut it as if you are making a v on the nail. If you are at home, you're going to cut this way, and then this way. This time you're going to file on a deeper angle, because you want to create that oval look. It's almost like you're filing your nail into a v, and once you get that point, as you can see the nail is starting to form a point. Always file the same direction. Squeeze the finger on the side, always downward to avoid the hang-nails. You see that there's a diamond shape, or a v at the free edge now.
So to round that off and just smooth it out, take the nail file and go straight across and tilt it up just a little bit to round it off. I also recommend sometimes, if you want to do this type of filing, use a glass nail file. It really smooths out the free edge, and it avoids the hang nail. You'll see a big difference.
